I was recently asked a very important question. Last year, what inspired you the most?
And for me that answer was easy. Sara Blakely.
Sara Blakely, who is the CEO and founder for Spanx. I remember when she talked about generating 1 million dollars and she had a big party, of course I'll do that. She also gives each of her employees a round ticket to travel anywhere in the world and $10,000 cash.
Who does that?
The reason I’m inspired by her is not only because her extraordinary vision and leading the business to have incredible success, but at the same time, I feel like she shows us what a different type of leadership can be.
There is another way than to just focus on maximizing profit and going without authenticity.
She's living in the whole world with her heart, with her vision, with her truth, vulnerability, it's just so inspiring to me.
