Elon Musk. Mark Zuckerberg. Steve Jobs.
Many entrepreneurs have become household names. Our society glamorizes, even fetishes, the venture world and all its attendant glories—in no other field does the idea that a single person with a great idea can literally change the world seem more possible.
But there’s a dark side we often don’t talk about: Entrepreneurs are much more likely to suffer from mental health issues than the rest of us.

🔷 3x more likely to suffer from substance abuse
🔷 Twice as likely to have suicidal thoughts
In a survey of 300+ entrepreneurs, Hustle found that 70% of entrepreneurs don’t feel there are enough mental health resources out there. To make matters worse, the COVID-19 pandemic has triggered a 25% increase in the prevalence of anxiety and depression worldwide. (WHO)
