Prelaunch is a so-called “product validation” platform.
It raised $1.5 million in a seed round led by Armenia’s venture firm BigStory.
I love examining pitch decks and I was reading an article by Haje Jan Kamps in TechCrunch analyzing Prelaunch’s deck.
I’ve summarized the main dos and don'ts points below.
Two main things the deck got wrong:
❌ No competitor slide
❌ No measurable specific goal (e.g. Grow our top of the funnel from 800 companies to 4,000 companies by X date)
Two main things the deck got right:
✅ Amazing traction numbers
✅ Used visuals to show how it worked
Just like a doctor cannot perform surgery on himself, you cannot be a fair evaluator of your pitch.
